What is IV in Pokémon GO?
IVs (Individual Values) are hidden Attack/Defense/Stamina values from 0–15. Higher IVs generally mean higher potential; 15/15/15 is 100% IV.
How should I read the PvP ranks?
Great/Ultra Leagues have CP caps. Many top PvP spreads are low Attack with higher bulk so the Pokémon can reach a higher level under the cap. A smaller rank (rank #1 best) is better.
What’s different about Shadow Pokémon?
Shadow Pokémon get +20% Attack and about -17% Defense. They often hit harder in PvE raids, but can be glassier in PvP.
Does Purifying change IVs?
Purifying adds +2 to each IV (Attack/Defense/Stamina), with a minimum of 2, and removes Shadow stat modifiers. It also reduces some power-up costs.
Why do I see no matching IV combinations?
Common causes are a wrong Pokémon selection, inconsistent CP/HP/Stardust inputs, or the wrong Pokémon type (Normal/Shadow/Purified). This tool also shows the closest candidates for reference.
